Lawrence Katz has parlayed his passion for music into an immensely successful and exuberantly diverse career. After graduating from the Berklee College of Music, Lawrence has lent his talents on many different levels of the recording and touring worlds. From regional touring around his home town of Atlanta to major label acts in Los Angeles including Julian Coryell, Darren Johnson and Bob Khaleel. Ultimately Lawrence joined a much larger arena as the the lead guitar player and songwriter in the Platinum selling ska punk rock band the Mighty Mighty Bosstones. It was with this act that he played everything from small clubs to stadiums, recorded several records as well as making the rounds on the late night television circuit.(David Letterman, Jay Leno, Jimmy Kimmel)

Most recently he has been sharing his talents touring with songsmith Daniel Powter and Latin Grammy winning pop star Beto Cuevas. Who's record he played all of the guitars on. Additionally Lawrence is an accredited songwriter for himself and up and coming artists , session guitar player on records and films, producer for several new bands, and has written music for films and television. Lawrence’s unique range of experience has established him in the music industry as a unique, versatile, and an accomplished artist.

Currently ,when not on the road, Lawrence is diversifying his career as the owner and operator of Argyle studios where he continues his pursuit as a musician, songwriter and producer.
